About this site
Kappabashi Kitchen Town is lined with shops that each know one thing very well — knives, cooking tools, tableware, confectionery equipment, replica food samples, uniforms. This site sets out the practical details for each of them: hours, closing days and what they deal in, so that a visitor can find the shop they are looking for straight away. Listings are kept up to date from information published by the shops themselves and by the shopping association.
How we compile what we publish is set out in our editorial policy, and how we handle personal information in our privacy policy.
Our use of AI
The shop information published here is organised and written with the help of AI (generative AI), working from publicly available sources such as the official websites of the shops and of the shopping association. Everything is checked against those public sources before it goes up, but hours and closing days do change, so please confirm with the shop’s own information before you visit. If you find a mistake in anything we have written, tell us through the contact form and we will check it and correct it promptly.
Revenue
This site currently carries no advertising. If we introduce advertising or affiliate programmes in future, we will say so on this page and keep them clearly separate from our editorial decisions, so that they do not influence them.
