DR. GOODS — Kappabashi, Tokyo
English support and tax-free are shown only where we've confirmed them. Many Kappabashi shops do offer tax-free — ask at the register (passport required).
Dr.Goods has been picking and shelving tools since 1998. Cooking tools are on the ground floor; tableware and cutlery are on 2F. Cutipol, Jean Dubost, Kobo Aizawa and Shotoku Glass are among the makers it carries, and the shop says on its own site that every piece is inspected before it goes out.
It closes on Sundays and public holidays, so if you are walking Kitchen Town Street at a weekend, make it the Saturday.
