SHICHIGOSAN — Kappabashi, Tokyo
English support and tax-free are shown only where we've confirmed them. Many Kappabashi shops do offer tax-free — ask at the register (passport required).
A monjayaki shop founded in 1999. Monjayaki is a loose savoury batter cooked on the hot plate in front of you, and alongside it the kitchen serves okonomiyaki, teppanyaki, noodles and rice dishes. The staff do the cooking, so you can eat here without knowing how it is done. The pork is Hirata Bokujo’s three-breed pork, and the thick noodles are brought in from Osaka. Open 11:00–22:00 Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays, though it opens when the Monday is a public holiday.
