A bakery running since 1942 that makes nothing but shokupan and bread rolls. Shokupan is the square white loaf sold in every Japanese bakery, and Pelican’s own site puts its aim as a taste you can eat every day without tiring of. The range has stayed that narrow ever since. Somewhere to stop in the morning or at midday while you walk Kitchen Town Street.
