The owner trained at an eel wholesaler and opened this shop about thirty years ago. It serves three grades of unaju, grilled eel over rice in a lacquered box, along with uzaku, grilled eel liver and seasonal dishes. The name comes from the shop’s particular care over sansho pepper. Lunch 11:30–14:00, dinner 16:00–19:30. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.
