English support and tax-free are shown only where we've confirmed them. Many Kappabashi shops do offer tax-free — ask at the register (passport required).
Tokuzo is a knife shop given over to Tosa uchihamono, the hand-forged blades of Kochi. It carries work by makers such as Myojin Naoto and the Kurotori forge, and sets the racks out by steel and by price band: Aogami Super, AUS8, AUS10, VG10 and SG2.
The official site switches to English and the online shop sends knives abroad, so you can read up before you come and choose without counting the space left in your suitcase.
