KANAYA BRUSH — Kappabashi, Tokyo
English support and tax-free are shown only where we've confirmed them. Many Kappabashi shops do offer tax-free — ask at the register (passport required).
A brush shop going back to the Taisho era. Toothbrushes and hairbrushes, the flat brushes used in a kitchen, shoe brushes, calligraphy brushes, wire brushes for metal.
What makes it worth the stop is that the household things and the craftsman’s things sit on the same shelves. Brushes are also light and hard to break, which makes them one of the easier things to carry home.
