Sankido (三起堂)
SANKIDO — Kappabashi, Tokyo
English support and tax-free are shown only where we've confirmed them. Many Kappabashi shops do offer tax-free — ask at the register (passport required).
Sankido covers a great deal of ground in one shop: lacquerware, ceramics and porcelain, glass and bamboo ware on one hand; pots, ironware, knives, chopping boards and commercial kitchen equipment on the other. Japanese tableware and kappo lacquerware, the pieces Japanese restaurants use, are where the range runs deepest.
The shop’s site says it takes orders from outside Japan as well as within it, and there is an English version of the site, produced with Google Translate.
