Niimi has stood at the entrance to Kitchen Town Street since 1907. The giant chef’s head on the roof is the landmark of the whole district; say you will meet under that face and people will know where you mean.
Two floors hold Japanese, Western and Chinese tableware, glassware, pots, cooking tools and lacquerware from more than 300 makers. Open 10:00–17:45, closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Getting there
A minute's walk from Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, at the southern entrance to Kappabashi Kitchen Town.
